Investing.com – United Airlines Holdings (NASDAQ:) reported on Tuesday third quarter that beat analysts’ forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

United Airlines Holdings announced earnings per share of $2.81 on revenue of $12.90. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $2.24 on revenue of $12.72B.

United Airlines Holdings shares are down 5% from the beginning of the year, still down 31.68% from its 52 week high of $54.52 set on November 8, 2021.

United Airlines Holdings shares gained 5.02% in after-hours trade following the report.

United Airlines Holdings follows other major Industrials sector earnings this month

United Airlines Holdings’s report follows an earnings missed by Lockheed Martin on July 19, who reported EPS of $1.16 on revenue of $15.45B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.88 on revenue of $15.98B.

Cintas had beat expectations on September 28 with first quarter EPS of $3.39 on revenue of $2.17B, compared to forecast for EPS of $3.13 on revenue of $2.08B.
